So, there you go

So, I just found out that since it's a very quick train ride to Athens, I should get a chance to go on Thursday. I'm very excited. Now, since I'm from America, I don't have no honeys or jams. I'm just dry toast. But I imagine from what I've seen in the movies, this will all change in Greece.

    Give us a food report from Athens- Souvlaki, Baklava, and are Gyros just a tourist thing and if no, are they different over there?

    Did you know that the expression "dry toast" comes from the Greek....yep....the DRY is from the Greek word "tatekee" meaning TAKE OFF..and
    "TOAST" is from the Greek "jamamama" meaning "moist golden stuff". So if you TAKE OFF the MOIST GOLDEN STUFF you have
    DRY TOAST. Just thought you might want to know!!!!

    My mom loved that you referenced the movie, but was a little sad that you weren't talking about some girls (honeys). :)
